As usual, school's started and I've gotten to busy making art, to post art. Lots of photography (a new thing) altered books and a growing number of painting/sculpture hybrids. But, if you happen to be in the area, there's a few shows you show probably (by which I mean most definitely) check out. -111th Annual Exhibition by Richmond and Area Artists at the Richmond Art Museum in Richmond, Indiana. A few other BSU students/faculty and I have work in the show, which opens this Thursday http://www.richmondartmuseum.org/exhibits/ -Findings; the 2009 Art in Italy Show in the Atrium Gallery Runs from November 10th to the 24th, with a fan

ArtsWalk; The One Night a Year Muncie Doesn't Suck If you're going to be in the area tomorrow, you should probably most definitely check out ARTSWALK! Downtown Muncie, from 5 - 9 pm, gallery openings (with free food), performance/street art, musicians, art for sale (including yours truly and the rest of the BSU Fine Arts League) Also, don't forget to check out the galleries on campus, as well as ~Rutske (https://www.deviantart.com/rutske) 's Living Room Gallery. Support non-traditional venues!! (And those who show there...i.e. me.) Get Excited. *What, what's it all about, all about?

Less than two weeks until the start of the semester (and my senior year). Am alternating between the feeling that the end can't come soon enough and a blind cold-sweat panic that I'm not ready, not ready, can't make me. To calm the latter sentiment, I've started compiling a list of possibilities for next year: -Seek fulfilling employment at an art museum or gallery or dog-daycare -Seek unfulfilling employment and use it write my breakthrough, best selling nonfiction piece. -fulfill childhood/lifelong dream, become a librarian -save spare change and flee to Chile/Europe/Whatever foreign land beckons when the time comes. -Attempt to hike

Everytime I see your name on here, I think about Creole.
What are you planning on doing? Something FANTASTIC!?
slightly jealous of your madd watercolor skillz ftw;;; much thanks for the watch and...

watchback!
thanks for favorite-ing! love your work!
When I read you were doing some simple watercolors from your sketches of people in Italy, I wanted to try something like that.

The only people at the park were joggers and people on cell phones, not very good subjects.I did find a statue thow, something that would stay nice and still. I did a sketch and watercolor. [link]

Thanks for posting your WC and giving me the idea about going outside for a wee bit. :)
Yay for new updates!
Indeed! Lots to add, but my camera's being strange, so only what I can scan or capture with the camera on my mac for the moment.
